Mr. Tusk, the mean toy-store owner, wants to send Corduroy back to the factory because the teddy bear is missing a button. All the other stuffed toys, led by a feisty mouse named Norman, decide to help Corduroy find his button.
Corduroy starts to believe he's "damaged goods" and that no one will want him... but a big-hearted little girl named Lisa has other ideas!
