"Insiders" is a new web series dedicated to taking YOU inside the action behind our crazy world. In our "Dinghy Derby" edition, Tarquin Cooper saddles up in a 90kph "fishing" boat for a high speed rip around the Riverland Dinghy Derby race track.
Every year, competitors come from far and wide to take on the natural course in pimped-up fishing boats, racing at breakneck speed around hairpin bends quite often just centimeters from low-slung branches and trees. It's fast, furious and looks like a whole lot of fun. This is Red Bull Dinghy Derby. Naturally, we wanted a ride.
